2025 PG California Prospect Showcase
Kameron Benavides is a 2026 3B with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo HS. A primary third-baseman. In the infield, he has light, active feet and works through plays with solid glove actions. He has accurate throws, and clean charge and throw on slow rollers. Has a feel for moving through the field with confidence and control. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has an even base with slightly open preset hands and barrel into launch early. He has strength and speed to the hands, balanced swing, and solid line-drive contact to both gaps. Lower-half mechanics are simple and effective, creating a short-to-long, efficient path through the zone. Named to the California Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
