Alex Lora is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Cooper City, FL who attends Hialeah Educational Academy. Good athletic build with length to his body. Balanced footwork, glove works out front and he reads hops. Works his feet well at first base and has some arm strength and accuracy there. The right-handed hitter has a closed stand with high hands and stay on top through contact. Some hands strength and power potential as he develops. When on time he showed some jump off the barrel. The right-handed pitcher worked exclusively form the stretch, with a smooth arm stroke and consistent release that allowed him to locate his fastball consistently. Worked his fastball in the zone with some arm side run. Forced contact during his outing.
