Brody Vogel is a 2027 SS/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Viera, FL who attends Viera. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Compact frame with present strength. Primary shortstop, works through it with soft hands, developing hands and lateral range but present feel and internal clock for the infield, solid fundamentals. Secondary outfielder, attacks it well with quick transfers to release, light footwork and controls the glove with present actions out front, works through it nicely, things to project on in the grass. Right-handed hitter, narrow and even bae, high hands with low back elbow, creates some separation in stride, hand speed through the zone, contact oriented stroke with some feel for the barrel present, hitting tools in the profile. Well rounded prospect with a chance to be effective with both the glove and stick long term. Named to the Top Prospect List.
