Jacob Owens is a 2027 MIF/RHP with a 5-8 144 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Obra D. Tompkins. Medium, proportioned build with thin levers to add onto. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, corner actions and footwork, hands work with some arm strength from lower slot release, gamelike round, gets to the spot and showed a good charge, has the hands to stick on the dirt. Secondary right-handed pitcher, low slot release generates some loose run, deceptive and hidden through the back, generated soft contact with good tempo and filled the zone, can throw strikes and showed a mid 60's slider as well. Right-handed hitter, wide base with forward high hands and high back elbow, level swing, minimal separation, liners to the pull-side when on time, stands to improve from more strength and separation timing.
