Griffin Cook is a 2028 C/1B/3B with a 6-1 173 lb. frame from Cantonment, FL who attends J. M. Tate. Nice young athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 7.22 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, receives the ball with soft hands and a clean transition, gains ground into his throws, short and compact arm action with some carry on his throws, accurate throws, game actions in drills. Right handed hitter, sets up slightly open with a low hand start, smaller leg raise trigger made some hard middle of the field impact when he got the barrel out on time, has some projection as a hitter as he continues to get stronger. Good student.
