Evan Lauer is a 2025 RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Germantown, WI who attends Germantown. Lean, high-waisted frame with plenty of room for additional strength. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the first base side of the rubber with a chest-high leg lift. Separates into a deep arm path before releasing the baseball from a low three-quarters slot. Works quickly on the mound while creating clean extension into release. Fastball showed life with arm-side run, ultimately peaking at 82 mph. Mixed in a well-replicated changeup with late arm-side fade and an 11-6 breaking ball with spin up to 2224 rpm. Manipulates the shape and speed of the breaker and spins it well. Showed feel for his entire mix. Projects for an uptick in velocity with added strength. Great student. Named to the 2024 Midwest Uncommitted Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
