Manny Retana is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Recorded a 7.48 second 60-yard dash time. Broad shoulders with a well-proportioned frame throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher with a very high leg lift and lands online. Over the top arm slot with good ride on the fastball that was recorded up to 85 mph. High release point with good extension helps create tough angle. Slider had short horizontal action and also showed big sweeping curveball. Secondary infielder with a clean glove hand and good actions. Solid arm across and can play multiple infield positions. Right-handed hitter with a small stride forward and an uphill swing path. Torques it hard and swings with intent. Creates separation well and the ball comes off hard with good impact. Great student. Named to the PG Colombia Showcase TP List.
