2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
Ricky Frazier III is a 2029 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-6 171 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends TNXL Academy. Long limbed and very lean high waisted build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a compact hand load, quick leg raise timer, tends to cast his hands out to start his swing, mostly pull side ground ball contact. 7.71 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has step by step fielding the ball and into his release and throws, compact arm action with developing arm strength. Also worked worked out at first base and his tools, body and projection project best there. Also pitched. Worked from a well controlled side step delivery, slow to fast mechanics with a full reared back arm swing and a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was mostly in the upper 70's and topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight, more velocity definitely there as he matures physically and cleans up his arm action and mechanics. Threw a short and developing breaking ball as his secondary pitch. Graded out best as a pitcher at this event.
