Deegan Cross is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF, UT with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Lake Havasu City, AZ who attends Lake Havasu. Tall, durable frame with good strength throughout the frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery, hands come set at the belt, moderate leg lift to balance, long arm path in the back to a high three-quarters slot. Has obvious arm speed and worked around the zone with three pitches. Works down the mound nicely and repeats the operation well. Fastball worked in the mid-80s, up to 87 mph (2246 RPM) with command to all four quadrants. Curveball showed 11-5 shape with depth, up to 75 mph (1797 RPM) and also showed a changeup with fading action to left-handed hitters, up to 74 mph (1944 RPM). Great student. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
