Tristan Wells is a 2025 C/3B/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends Dr Garcia. Features a medium-sized lean build with room to add. Ran a 7.24 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, he used a one knee down set up during throwdowns. He showed on-line footwork where he gained good ground towards 2B. Has an efficient glove-to-hand transfer that led to a shorter/quick arm action that got off throws with avg. strength but present accuracy to the bag. At the plate, he sits in a slightly open stance with tighter hands and showed a contact-oriented stroke/approach. Uses a toe tap trigger that keeps him balanced. Hands throw a direct barrel to the baseball that flashed some quality hand speed and present inside-out ability. When he gets the barrel out front he flashes some decent strength at impact. Best results were some hard liners he sent through the middle of the field during his BP round.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
