Christian Sandoval is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 187 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends Lake Norman. Ran a strong 6.78 sixty-yard dash. Utilizes a medium frame with present athleticism. Appeared at both first base and in the outfield during defensive workouts, displaying versatility. Worked to the ball well on the grass via direct routes and adequate footwork, delivering strong throws up to 87. Showcased a fundamentally sound skillset at first base, moving well laterally and producing throws up to 86 across the diamond. At the plate, he starts with an even base and high hands, working to a quick and impactful barrel. Produced exit velocities up to 98, peppering the middle of the field with hard-hit line drives. On the mound, works with a lean southpaw build with room to fill, utilizing a medium arm action and three-quarters slot. Worked the fastball up to 82 with command of the zone. Mixed in a sharp vertical curveball and fading changeup. Terrific student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
