Lj Williams is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Mallard Creek. Plus body with long lean levers that can hold more, overall very athletic and strong for age. Ran a 7.37 sixty. Primary outfielder, longer actions and deliberate to the ball with a long and deep arm action. Throws produced average carry with accuracy to the bag. Took reps at first base, glove worked well and shorted the arm action up some. Developing feel to coordinate his body right now but shoed some comfort in this spot. RHP, stretch only from the third base side of the rubber. Inline path, deliberate down the slope with some torso tilt to first base at the top of the leg kick. Throws strikes, ran the fastball up to 72-mph and did not show a breaking ball. Right handed hitter, wide stance with a very high handset and back elbow. Some barrel wrap, raw bat speed that comes off well when everything is timed up well and gets extended. A bit inconsistent right now but has tools in place to adjust. Projects well down the line with mechanical adjustments given the natural athleticism and strength present in the profile. Very good student.
