Eddie "Mambo" Flores is a 2027 SS/MIF with a 5-9 162 lb. frame from Elmsford, NY who attends Pleasantville. Flores works from a lean and plenty athletic build with additional room to fill out as a '27 prospect. Primary MIF, displayed active footwork and worked through the baseball effectively. Made natural adjustments with ability to change slots on the run. Smooth glove work with solid arm strength across the diamond up to 86 mph. Also worked from the OF, again showcased clear arm strength up to 85 mph with some room to cut down on the actions. Natural athlete regardless of where he is on field. Offensively, starts from a narrow open base with high back elbow and hanging leg trigger. Plenty of evident jump off the barrel with easy bat speed produced through the zone. Compact line drive stroke with carry to the middle of the field. Posted an exit velo of 93 mph. Ran a 7.17 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
