Alvin Santiago is a 2025 IF/RHP/C with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Alonso. Athletic looking body with a strong lower half and present strength throughout. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, some quickness to the feet, solid arm across with accuracy to the throws, barehand charge play and kept momentum carrying, solid actions on the dirt and may see a shift to corner in the future. Secondary right-handed pitcher, clean arm action, three-quarters slot, comes out of the hand well, sidesteps in the stretch, could project a velocity bump here soon, arm side movement on the change versus left-handed bats, inconsistent slider shape but flashed tight horizontal shape, in and around the zone, developing feel to spin with life on the heater. Took reps as a catcher, squared stance, out of the crouch early, some arm strength, solid pop times as well here. Right-handed hitter, moderately wide base, even feet, high back elbow, toe tap timing, lift to the pull-side, solid results. Traits across the board and could improve over the summer without question.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
