Blaize Ward is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Maumelle, AR who attends Maumelle. Athletic build with good length and some present strength. 6.88 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, showing fundamental footwork, clean glove actions with softer hands, efficient movements and angles to the baseball laterally and a strong arm across the diamond. Hit from an even base with a well connected swing and slight uphill bat path. Showed the ability to hit with rhythm, get on time and lift and drive the baseball. Fastball was consistently in the mid 80's, showed some feel to spin the curve ball with consistent shape and maintained the arm speed on the change up in the mid 70's. Athletic 2-way talent. Very good student, signed with Missouri. Named to the PG National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
