Ethan Shultz is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Las Vegas. Features a high-waisted build with room to add. Ran a 7.64 60-yard dash. Caught the ball well throughout infield workouts. Still developing footwork through the catchpoint. Will stop momentum at times. Short arm action produced accurate throws. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an upright stance with a toe tap timing mechanism. Displays a direct path to contact. Approach stays through the middle of the field. More power should come as the frame adds more strength. Also threw on the mound. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery with tall and fall mechanics. Hides the ball well throughout short arm action. Release from a 3/4 slot. The fastball topped out at 71 mph. The offering was thrown around the zone often. It was paired with a curveball at 59-63 mph with short, slurve action. Flashed the ability to create late bite at times. Showed a changeup at 60-62 mph as well. Will throw the offering early in counts. Named to the 13u/14 Sunshine Southwest Showcase Top Prospect List.
