Ryker Tweedy is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Mead, WA who attends Mt Spokane. Medium, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.24 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, stays back on the ball and fields it out front, longer arm action through the back working to a lower slot at release, shorter strides ranging up the middle, will continue to refine overall actions and footwork moving forward. Also pitched, leg lift just belt belt at start, gets taller on backside, similar arm action action in back before working to a three-quarters release point. Short stride down the mound, generates subtle sink to fastball which topped out at 71 mph down in the zone. Pitched to contact and worked around the zone, worked exclusively off of his fastball. Righthanded hitter, begins with an upright and narrow stance in the box with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Contact oriented approach, bat speed projects with added strength, swings with a linear path through the zone. Stays compact with swing and keeps hands inside the ball, works to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Very good student.
