Mitchell Grandjean is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-6 124 lb. frame from Oxford, MS who attends Oxford. Slender young athletic build with lots of growing ahead of him. 8.30 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has a clean approach through the ball on defense, works behind the ball and under control, fields with two hands out front and a good funnel to his exchange, has some arm strength for a 7th grader and makes accurate throws, has all the actions to keep improving with physical maturity. Right handed hitter, has a busy load with a big leg raise out front and a hand drop in back to get the bat going, will have to simplify his pre-swing routine as the game speeds up, has a short line drive swing with line drive contact when he's on time and not trying to catch up. Also pitched, has a simple turn and throw delivery with a compact high 3/4's arm slot, can get more use of his lower half in working down the mound. Threw strikes with a mid-60's fastball.
