Jean Verdejo is a 2026 C/1B/3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Central Pointe Christian. Big and strong physical build. 6.92 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has soft hands and well controlled actions, has quickness in his lower half actions throws from a higher arm slot and gets on top of his throws well, polished overall actions. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread and open stance, loads his hands in front of his body, takes an aggressive swing, has some juice/strength in his swing but doesn't put himself in position to barrel up, has the tools to improve with adjustments. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a 3/4's arm slot, taller rotational delivery. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with some running life, pitched predominantly to the arm side. Also threw a big breaking curveball and flashed a firm change up.
