Joel James is a 2025 OF/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Campbell. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 6.78 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has athletic actions, plays under control through the ball and fields the ball cleanly, shows plenty of game range, throws from a lower arm slot but makes on line accurate throws. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a low hand load, has fast hands and gets the barrel into the zone on time, lives on the barrel with hard line drive contact. Has improved in all areas over the past year and should continue to do so as he gets stronger. Named to the Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
