Harrison Collins is a 2024 1B/RHP with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Columbia, SC who attends Blythewood. Recorded a 8.18 second sixty yard dash time. Large and physical frame with present strength, has room to grow and the body projects well moving forward. Primary first baseman, has an idea of the footwork and made accurate feeds to each base. Longer arm action, has some feel for the position with developing softness in the hands, clean round overall. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a short arm action with average flex and arm speed, comes from a high three-quarters slot. Sidestep delivery with a knee to belt leg lift, has a short stride down the mound. Pitches from the first base side of the rubber and lands offline towards that side, rushes the delivery at times. Fastball shows some downhill plane to it, flashed a curveball with 11-5 shape and good sink. Arm is still a bit stiff, displayed decent control of the fastball, developing command for the curveball at present. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base and even stance, drops the hands into the swing. Tends to change eye levels as he begins the process, will improve as his head stays still. High intent swinger with definite power potential, flashed his strength by taking one off the monster during BP. Looked more consistent during the games and performed well there. Intriguing offensive upside with further development and refinement. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
