Hagan Clifton is a 2026 C/RHP/1B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Senoia, GA who attends East Coweta. Lean young tapered athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up one knee down, gains ground well into his throws, has a quick arm and some carry on his throws, made accurate throws, can improve his quickness in his exchange and release. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance with a hanging front leg trigger, is short and direct to the ball, hands work well into contact, has some strength at contact and drove the ball to the gaps well, can use his lower half more to help generate bat speed, has some projection as a hitter. Took a turn on the mound, works from a standard delivery with a compact 3/4's arm action, will lengthen his arm stroke at times, not much drive down the mound. Fastball was mostly in the mid-70's and topped out at 78 mph, straight with occasional cutting action. Threw both a short slider and developing change as secondary pitches. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
