Samuel Arrendell is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Second Baptist School. Athletic frame with good size present. Ran a 7.10 in the sixty. Primary outfielder with big arm strength and carry. Good footwork into strong, on-line throws with a clean finish. First base he also showed a big arm across with confident actions. Good turns, fields to middle and changes his slot well on the move. On the mound, stretch only operation with a full arm swing from a standard three-quarter slot. Has life to the fastball, quick arm and misses bats in zone. Peppers armside and showed feel for a breaker and changeup. Left-handed hitter, easy swinger with feel for the barrel from a simple path. Good bat speed and bat-to-ball, can hammer balls pull side or go the other way with ease. Very sound feel and two-way talent. Named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
