2025 PG Mid-Atlantic High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Tucker Montecalvo is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Dover, NH who attends Berwick Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a tight hand load, rotational swing mechanics, turns hard on the ball and creates bat speed and some impact out front, mostly pull side line drive contact, has some projection as a hitter as he continues to get stronger. 7.35 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, step by step actions to the ball, gets his glove in good position and fields the ball cleanly, some effort in his throwing but makes accurate throws with some carry and can change arm slots effectively on the move. Can see him ending up at third base if he continues to grow. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a high coiled leg raise to the chest and a deep arm takeaway in back, has some deception in his delivery. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with nice sinking life, located his fastball well to the glove side. Change up was a solid pitch with arm speed and some feel for locating. Slider was his third best pitch but threw it for strikes as well. Good student. Named to the PG Mid-Atlantic HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
