Juan Fernandez is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-2 120 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Christian. Smaller young build with lots of time to continue to grow and get stronger. 7.90 runner, has athletic actions in the middle infielder, moves his feet well and has good feel with his glove, throws well on the run with good accuracy, projects well on defense. Also plays the outfield and showed the same type of feel and athleticism with a long, whippy arm action. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, upper body swing, gets some separation and extension. Took a turn on the mound, 3/4's arm slot with a long and loose arm action, stayed on line well with good pace and the ability to repeat. Fastball topped at 72 mph, flashed some depth on his curveball.
