Heath Truett is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Willis. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Works from the stretch to a high 3/4's arm slot, tends to pull his front side off-line hard to the first base side, long levers create good leverage to the plate. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, works mostly to the glove side due to his directional mechanics. Downer curveball with 12/6 shape shows best when not over thrown, flashed a slider that was short with good lateness, more of a cutter type pitch. Key to his future development will be improving his front side mechanics/direction. Good student.
