Sebastian Davila is a 2024 C/SS with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. A medium build with strength to it. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who had a quicker release and a shorter arm action as he worked through the throws. He gains ground well and was strong in the lower half as he moved through the catch-n-throw. Put together a solid round of throws down to second with good accuracy to the bag. Threw 70 mph and produced a 2.00 pop time. A right-handed hitter with a high back elbow and a wider base. The hands get deep in the load, drifting a big as he gets ready to work through the zone. He had some turning over of it when he works through the zone. He rotates through and lets the barrel work through the zone as he makes his forward move through contact. Produced an 81 mph exit velocity. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
