Evan Scott is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-6 190 lb. frame from Liberty Township, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. XL frame with long, lean build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.38 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, sidestep to belt-high lift, medium-length arm stroke to 3/4 slot release, sinking the fastball well with downhill plane as well, worked 77-81 mph with lots more in the tank, showed curveball with some depth, also flashed slider with more cut-shape, good strikes with whole arsenal. Gains ground in stride when hitting, finding leverage and showing off his strength, able to lift the ball and drive it deep to straightaway center, power upside is vast. Took defensive reps at 1B, showed solid hand actions, accurate both to 2B and 3B. Very good student, named to 2022 Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
