Damico (DJ) Parker Jr is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 156 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Garfield. Features a tall, high-waisted build with room to add. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Displayed clean, athletic actions during defensive workouts. Makes the routine play consistently. Uses a shorter arm action into accurate throws. Reached 78 mph during workouts. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a balanced stance with a slight barrel wrap stat. Showcased quality bat speed and intent throughout. Approach stays through the middle of the field. Still developing consistent barrel accuracy. Projects well for more power down the line. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a medium leg lift into simple delivery down the mound. Throws from a. 3/4 slot with a short, quick arm action. Fastball sat 72-74 mph with slight armside run. Can create a downhill angle at times. Pairs it with a mid-60’s slider with sweeping action when thrown well. Still developing consistent feel and command of the offering. Good student.
