Eli Sims is a 2027 OF/UT with a 5-4 115 lb. frame from Riverview, FL who attends Middle School. Slender young build with lots of growing in front of him. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a loose and extended swing, stays behind the ball fine, gets into his lower half well, showed good barrel accuracy with squared up contact to the right side of the field, good young hitting ability that will continue to improve as he gets stronger. 7.87 runner in the sixty. Showed good footwork in the outfield on defense and carried his momentum through his throws, long and loose arm action, makes on line soft throws, tends to open up his front side early throwing. Good young athlete with a bright future.
