Taylor Manuell is a 2027 OF/UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Madison, WI who attends Sun Prairie. Medium build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. Ran a 7.69 60-yd dash. In the OF, shows fundamental actions. Aggressiveness to the approach working with some quickness to and through reception. Glove got down early and fielded slightly off to side but clean. Quickness out the glove where he works into a bigger crow hop. Some hitch/stab to the arm action where the elbow pushes through a bit and got off uphill throws to the bag with avg. strength for his level. At the plate, sits in a medium base that is open. Initiates early using a simple forward move with smaller takeback of the hands. Gets to a balanced launch and turns behind it. Hands get inside the baseball, working the barrel on a direct barrel path. Decent barrel accuracy with an approach that stayed through the middle/opposite field. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level, didn't release the barrel for extended/out-front contact to show best impact. Found a nice barrel during live ABs, lining one back through the middle.
