Cooper Holmes is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Keatchie, LA who attends Calvary Baptist Academy. Cooper ran a 7.83 Sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman he showed a medium athletic frame with some strength already present. He rounds the ball well fielding with two hands out in front with quick High energy movements. He fields the ball with plenty of intent catching it cleanly with quick transfers and a shorter compact arm action with accurate throws across the diamond. On the mound he worked with a hip high leg lift with plenty of ease within the operation. He drives of the backside with some aggressiveness in the hips and a shorter stride. He works from a high 3/4s slot which helps generate some late arm side run to the fastball. Holmes mixed in a tight slurvy breaking ball with tightness and late bite to it. He also showed a CH with extremely late fade which tunneled the fastball very well. Right handed hitter starts with a Wide even base with a slight leg lift trigger. He crates plenty of extension throughout the zone was some speed in the hands and feel for the barrel. Holmes was consistent with the contact throughout working to the middle of the field over to the pull side. The strength came to the middle of the field. He is a great student in the classroom. Cooper was named to the 2023 Deep South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
