Jake Cackovic is a 2025 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Holly Springs, NC who attends Holly Springs. Very projectable young pitcher's build, square shouldered, long armed and slender with lots of room to get stronger. Slow paced side step delivery with a 3/4's arm slot, sound young delivery mechanics that he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, gets nice sink and run down in the strike zone, works low consistently and commands his fastball with some maturity, maintains his velocity from the stretch. Firm true slider with a short side to side break, lands his slider for strikes. Has an idea of working to spots. 7.70 runner in the sixty, played both first base and the outfield on defense and showed some athleticism. Right handed hitter with some present bat speed, sinks into his hips well and has a loose swing with some extension and lift, gets out front well, simple and repeatable timer, projects power as he matures. Named to the 13U/14U Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
