Kade Luker is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Ruston, LA who attends Cedar Creek. Long and lean athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Primary left handed pitcher with two-way potential as a left handed hitter. Works exclusively from the stretch from the third base side, has a belt high leg raise and medium length arm takeaway to a 3/4's arm slot, stays directional down the mound well. Fastball sat in the upper 80's with life to both sides of the plate. Curveball had nice power and some 1/7 depth, created some sweeping angle to left handed hitters. Killed the spin well on a firm change up. Threw 71% strikes for his outing. Plenty of upside potential on the mound. Sets up in a straight stance at the plate, has outstanding present bat speed with strength and leverage out front, turns hard and showed his pull power, easy whip with fast and loose hands. 6.83 runner in the sixty. Played the outfield on defense. Good student.
