Griffin John is a 2025 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter. He ran a 7.50 second sixty. A primary catcher with a medium slender frame. Behind the plate he gains little ground into the throws catching the ball before he get the feet moving, he showed young arm strength on the throws with a 2.32 second pop time to go allow with a good feel for the blocking mechanics and ability to keep the ball in the dirt close. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base showing a simplified approach as the barrel stays level through the zone staying connected with the upper half as he rotates through contact.
