Carson Smith is a 2026 OF/LHP, 1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cy-Fair. Tall, lanky build with wiry limbs to build upon. Ran a 8.07 in the sixty. Showed well in outfield and first base drills. Good carry out of the hand and accuracy. Clean turns to the bag at first can manipulate the slot well on the move. Good length to the arm with intent behind it. Also pitched, stretch only delivery with a higher arm slot. Good armspeed, with some heavy late fading action to the changeup. Good deception off it. Lots to build upon. Left-handed hitter, open stance and even base. Developing bat speed and overall feel. Good length to the path. Looks to work it out front. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
