2024 Indianapolis Indoor Showcase
Nolan Colbert is a 2024 OF/1B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Fishers, IN who attends Hamilton Southeastern. Primary outfielder with a medium sized frame and good athleticism. Showed decent footwork and works through the baseball well fielding it off to his side cleanly. Charges with intent and has an idea. Throws from an extended high over the top slot. The transfer and release get a bit long as he shuffles into the release but still made throws with good accuracy and some carry behind them. Ran a 7.01 sixty. Left-handed hitter with a wider base. Swings with good rhythm in the box. Uses a big front leg rock back and toe tap for timing and rhythm. Weight transfers well with plenty of bat speed. Showed good feel to leverage and launch as well. Upper half rotates well and clears the hips well. Can impact the ball to all fields. Good rhythmic swing and was on the barrel a bunch. Good student. Named to the TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
