Nolan Valasek is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Falls. Slim lengthy build has plenty of time to fill out shows good potential. Primary pitcher, the right hander ran the fastball up to 77 mph and flashed a developing 11/5 shape breaking ball that found the zone. Had a great feel for his delivery working with a simple controlled operation that he repeated well. Has a balanced above the belt leg lift, gets downhill clean and stays on line well. Releases at a high 3/4 arm slot, finishes his pitches well and the arm action was consistent. Produced soft contact and worked very efficiently in his outing. In the outfield, attacked the play hard taking straight line routes and covered good ground flashing some range. Has some young tendencies playing through the ball, chops up the steps to approach with a two handed field. Makes the glove skills work and shows good present arm strength. Also worked 1B, showed natural feel for the position flashing some good athleticism and field awareness. Worked through the ball with a confident glove and transfers smoothly. Made quick turn and showed a short arm action that missed some targets releasing uphill, but adjusted well. Right handed hitter, starts with a wide base and stays short to contact with tight hands. Uses a toe tap trigger that was mostly on time. Stiff swing but does a good job staying inside the ball, cuts off some barrel path connecting best up the middle.
