Carter Smith is a 2025 2B/1B/SSF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from East Bernard, TX who attends East Bernard. Primary 2B with a lean and athletic frame. Showed good lateral range getting to the ball and gets it out quick with a low slot release. Funnels to belt with some arm strength. Fielded it cleanly and made the routine play. Was up to 75 from the infield and ran a 6.89 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a even balanced base. Uses a toe tap rock back trigger and stride for timing and rhythm. Creates some space in the swing and rotates well at the top half of things showing good ability to impact it to the pull side. Will need to be more consistent with his bat path and getting on plane more consistently while tapping into his lower half more. Good Student.
