Sean Bleyer is a 2025 C/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Stoughton, WI who attends Sun Prairie. Primary catcher with an athletic build. Sets up high out of the crouch with shorter arm action. Uses a side saddle to get out of the crouch and gains some ground through the plate on the release. Also played infield working to his backhand well and moving well laterally. Showed clean glovework with a 2-hand gather and funnel into transfer. Has an idea with a quick transfer and release. Smooth actions and good footwork with range up the middle. Ran a 7.85 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base. Standard handset coils behind head on the load. Uses a small stride for timing and rhythm in the box. Was short to the ball and could hit it with authority to pull at times. Good student.
