Omarian Lawrence is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 4-10 92 lb. frame from Houston, TX. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean, build, will continue to develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.94 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front with two hands, takes an extra step working through the ball, long strides going up the middle, makes the plays, arm strength and carry on throws will continue to develop. Also pitched, quiet hands throughout delivery, chest high leg lift with steady tempo, medium stride coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 64 mph, mostly true in life and mixed a curveball with big 11-5 shape up to 57 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Upper body dominant swing, stays short to the ball and works on a linear plane to the point of contact. Handsy swing, can continue to incorporate additional lower half into weight shift, shows comfort working to pull side, employs a contact oriented approach. Good student.
