Kenneth Martin is a 2025 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-9 138 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Klein Forest. Medium, square shouldered frame with long limbs and a lean build with room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.28 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, begins with a big gather step moving into a higher leg lift; full arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Has moving parts to delivery, fastball topped out at 63 mph, mostly true in life but worked around the zone and pitched to contact early on, occasionally loses consistency of release point; mixed a curveball with short 11-5 shape up to 50 mph. Young actions in the infield, can maintain momentum working to and through the ball, taller actions, over the top release point, shows some quickness to footwork, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; upper body dominant swing and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into mechanics. Handsy swing, works on a linear path through the zone, middle to pull side contact, occasionally reaches out front early, bat speed projects with added strength. Very good student.
