Adrian Ruiz-Magallanes is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Pius X. Primary 3B with a physical frame. Gets to the ball well for his size and fields it cleanly with a one hand gather and funnel to chest. Showed cornerlike actions and made throws with good strength and accuracy behind them. Was up to 76 from the infield. Profiles best on the corner. Also played outfield with a one hand gather and medium arm path. Throws had good carry and strength behind them making it around the bag on time. Also played first and looked comfortable around the bag. Hops off it with good athleticism and could make the turn to second. Showed good feel around the bag. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open even base. Uses a hanging knee-lift trigger for timing while the hands load back. Rocks the weight back well and can tap into his lower half. Will need to be more consistent getting his foot down on time. Showed good strength and impact off the barrel when on it. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot. Standard leg raise from a steep release. Fastball worked up to 74 and was located well within the zone. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
