Jake Baskin is a 2025 C/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Thomas. Athletic, proportioned build. Ran a 6.92 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, offset feet in the base, good direction, working to gain ground consistently, compact arm action to higher slot release, accurate to and around the bag. Secondary outfielder, mid 80's arm strength here, choppier footwork coming to it, one hand gather off to the side, works throws direct to the bag on a good line, ha an idea in the outfield grass. Right-handed hitter, spread and open base, high hands and high back elbow, subtle load to the back shoulder, developing ability to consistently tap into the juice, level path through the zone with some bat speed.
