Peyton Adams is a 2024 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary outfielder, very aggressive with his reads off the bat, works hard to the baseball, fields off. to the side and carries his momentum through the baseball. Throws stay on line to all bags. On the mound, has a short arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Compact motion overall, fastball up to 74 mph. Throws strikes with consistency, blew through his inning of work. Mixes in both a 67 mph slider as well as a 69 mph straight change with good depth. At the plate, uses a narrow and open stance with a simple stride trigger. Simple and quick stroke with pop that stands to improve alongside his build. Showcases good barrel control with a middle of the field approach, excellent student in the classroom as well.
