2025 PG South High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Peyton Resnick is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood. Medium physical build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a rock back load, has bat speed with strong hands and loose extension out front, can further refine his timing but showed his power in the games with a big home run. 7.72 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good arm strength for the position from a higher arm slot. Also worked out in the outfield and looked solid on the grass, fielded the ball cleanly and made accurate strong throws with a feel for his fundamentals. Took a turn on the mound, has a slow and deliberate delivery with good drive down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics but lacks deception. Fastball was in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight. Threw a firm change up with some fade and a big and slow 1/7 curveball as his off-speed pitches. Mixed it up and threw strikes to contact. Good student. Named to the PG South HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
