Evan Langley is a 2023 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Burleson, TX who attends Burleson. Tall athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength and room for plenty more. Big leg lift trigger to start his swing, front foot tends to get down late at times, open to closed movements with a big shift into contact, lots going on to create timing noise, hand path is short and inside the ball, has the body and strength potential to continue to improve as a hitter with pre-swing adjustments. 8.02 runner in the sixty. Sets up in a narrow stance behind the plate, has some foot quickness, compact over the top arm action. Young athlete who should keep improving with additional strength and physical maturity. Very good student.
