Easton Benaske is a 2029 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Grand Ledge, MI, who attends Grand Ledge High School. Medium build with good present strength, especially for his age. Right-handed hitter, sets up in a medium base with a short stride into contact, well sequenced swing, gets into his strong lower half well, has strength in his hands and controls the barrel well, lots of hard gap to gap contact with carry. 7.77 runner in the sixty. Defensively, he's a primary first baseman. He showed comfort and natural actions around the bag. He plays low, uses a good prep step, and moves with bounce and confidence. He did not throw at the event due to injury, but his actions and feel at the position stood out as projectable. Very good student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
