Mason Piazza is a 2028 3B/SS with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Saline, MI who attends Saline. Strong, physical build with a solid lower half. Ran a 7.88 in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide stance with a strong lower half, short and direct stroke, creates hard impact with some barrel speed. Consistently drove the ball to all fields with an aggressive approach, showing strength out front and the ability to lift at times. Defensively, primarily a third baseman with a strong arm across the diamond. Moves laterally like a corner infielder, working through the ball well with some feel for the position. Backhand play was a bit stiff but functional, and he showed solid range for his size. Displayed good instincts and overall feel for infield actions.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
