Cj Meyer is a 2029 RHP/3B, SS, OF with a 5-8 158 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends The Woodlands Christian Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, compact leg kick and does a nice job of staying in line down the mound; repeats medium length of arm stroke well and works to a three-quarters release point. Fastball up to 80 mph and commands it well to the glove side, pitches with polish on the mound. Comfort mixing both a changeup and curveball for strikes, 11-5 shape up to 63 mph. Glove works well in the outfield, gets on top of the ball and generates nice downhill carry out of the hand with present strength and accuracy, repeats and lets athleticism play. Some whip in the arm on throws across the infield, glove skills play out front and showed ability to change slots while remaining accurate. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a tight hand set and high back elbow; utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Does a nice job of staying short to the ball, possesses strength in swing and swung it well in live action with XBH. Quickness in hands, comfort staying through the ball and working to the middle of the field, rhythm in swing and feel for the barrel. Very good student.
